Gillian has been working as a professional photographer for over ten years. She has worked in both digital and traditional photography and enjoys the contrast between them, seeing them as the yin to the other’s yang in making her a balanced artist. In her interior photographic work, Gillian strives to capture both the surface and the personality of a location, and seeks to convey the real experience of being in the setting portrayed. Taking care to use the available light – both natural and artificial – allows her to represent the true emotion of any room, which, like a human being, changes over time.
